Payment delays

From 11pm Saturday 4 May through to 5pm Sunday 5 May, payments between ALL banks in NZ will be delayed.

The delay is due to industry-wide systems maintenance.

You’re probably used to making weekend payments after 7-day payment processing went live last year!

But, this weekend will be just like the old days:

• Payments from your PCU account to another bank will leave your account immediately, but won’t arrive into the other account until after 5pm Sunday.

• Transfers between PCU accounts are unaffected and will work just like normal.

• Using your card is also unaffected.

If you need to shift some money between banks this weekend, do it as early as you can on Saturday!
