August Update from our Chief Executive

1 Aug 2014

Well we are most certainly in the midst of winter and this one feels harsh. Let's hope that it starts to ease up soon. The team at your Credit Union have been very busy over the past couple of months and I am delighted to advise that Mobile Banking is now available. Please have a look inside Bluenotes to see how easy it is to download the app and starting banking on your mobile device. It also shows how you could win an iPad Mini by simply using Mobile Banking.

We have Money Penny with us again this issue, talking about how the fine print when purchasing items online can create financial risk for you. It's worth taking a minute to read and make sure that you understand exactly what will happen whenever you give out your AccessDebit MasterCard number. Thanks to all of you that submitted your tips for making money go further and congratulations to Steve Chung for winning the iPad Mini. You may start to see your tips on the website in the next while.

I am also very pleased to confirm we now have six Police and Families Credit Union ATMs across the country. We will be assessing the usage of these machines and ongoing financial viability. Obviously, the more often they are used the better it is for all of us.

As always, if you have any feedback please contact me directly on 04 471 4850 or email helen.hatchard@policecu.org.nz.

Kind regards

Helen
